| Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of drug injection combined with triple puncture on piriformis syndrome. Methods 76 cases of piriformis syndrome patients were divided into two groups randomly 38 patients were treated by drug injection combined with triple puncture ( the treatment group ); another 38 patients were treated only by drug injection ( the control group ). Results The effective and recurrent rates were 97.4% (37 cases) and 5.2% (2 cases) in the treatment group, 78.9% (30cases) and 21%(8 cases ) in the control group respectively. The clinical efficacy was significant better in the treatment group than that in the control group (P＜0.05),however the recurrence was significant lower in the treatment group than that in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion Among the non-opreative therapies for piriform syndrom, drug injection combined with triple puncture is superior than drug injection therapy only． |
