【】Objective: To explore the therapeutic efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in the recovery phase of diabetic foot ulcers. Methods: Between January 2022 and December 2024, 60 patients with type 2 diabetes and foot ulcers were enrolled and randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, each comprising 30 individuals. The control group received standard comprehensive care, while the experimental group was treated with PRP in addition to the standard care. The study compared wound size, healing duration, pain levels, granulation tissue coverage, and adverse events between the two groups. Results: Post-treatment, the experimental group exhibited a smaller wound area compared to the control group (P<0.05). The time required for wound closure was also shorter in the experimental group. At 1 and 2 weeks post-treatment, the experimental group showed greater granulation tissue coverage (P<0.05). Pain scores in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Additionally, the rate of adverse events was lower in the experimental group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The use of platelet-rich plasma in the rehabilitation of diabetic foot ulcers is highly effective, as it reduces wound size, accelerates healing, decreases pain, enhances granulation tissue formation, and is associated with minimal side effects, making it a valuable clinical intervention.
