Depression belongs to the category of "depression disease" in traditional Chinese medicine, and its course of development follows a pattern of "pathogenic excess → mixed deficiency and excess → positive deficiency". Professor He Yingchun, a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner in Zhejiang Province, based on long-term clinical practice, flexibly applied the theory of "sequential therapy" and divided depression into three stages of sequential treatment according to the core principles of "syndrome differentiation and elimination of evil, combined attack and supplementation, and strengthening the body and consolidating the foundation": in the early stage, evil is abundant and positive, and treatment is based on syndrome differentiation and elimination of evil; Mid term evil love and positive injury, treated with both attack and repair; In the later stage of evil decline and positive deficiency, treatment should focus on strengthening the body and consolidating the foundation. This method is in line with the evolution law of depression, reflecting the academic ideas of "treating according to the time" and "preventing changes from existing diseases". It has important clinical guidance significance for improving efficacy, reducing residual symptoms, and lowering the risk of recurrence. This article systematically elaborates on the academic origins, core connotations, and clinical applications of HE''s "sequential therapy" theory, and provides supporting case studies for verification. |
